The Resident Diner is a funky little throwback diner with a sense of humor. It serves a variety of sandwiches, dips, hot dogs and even breakfast items, which are tasty (if not what you might consider to be healthy). It has a 1970s decor, and when you are waiting for your food, the server may bring you one or several retro toys such as a Viewfinder or a Crazy 8 ball to help you pass the time.

The waitstaff is eager to please and quirky, making the Resident Diner a lot more fun than many other restaurants. There’s a lot to look at and it has a kitschy, irreverent vibe. Although they don’t sell liquor there, you can pop next door to get a drink if you are so inclined.
This is a nice place to go for a casual lunch or snack. It is right on Main Street at the end of a little shopping center.
