Tip of the hat west greenville
the rabbit hole
The Rabbit Hole on Pendelton Street in the Village of West Greenville is a favorite of the Hatter’s for obvious reasons – it is an Alice in Wonderland themed bar! It is meticulously designed with a rustic feel and a variety of details that will make you feel topsy turvy and yet totally comfortable. The walls are brick, wood and green moss and if you look carefully, you will find a rabbit-sized door. It has an outside area with tables as well as a more inside area. When it’s cold, there is clear plastic sheeting and a star-shaped firepit in the outside area. Inside, there are tables with a velvet booth and some wing chairs and tables to have a cocktail as well as a full bar.
eclectic cocktails
The Rabbit Hole has a variety of interesting cocktails on the menu. They also serve some bites, not really enough to make a meal (unless you order several), but definitely enough to pair with your wine or cocktails. The atmosphere is hip and quirky. You almost feel like you are in a wood somewhere because of the wood and moss decor. The Rabbit Hole has a single unisex bathroom, which is a whole destination in itself. I won’t ruin the surprise here, but be sure to visit the restroom when you are there.
